What makes a good pitch

Tell us the central idea, who might enjoy it and what makes the subject worth a closer look. A strong proposal has a clear angle, a useful shape and room for careful writing, rather than a broad promise to cover everything about a pastime.

Subjects and approach

We are interested in evergreen pieces that explain, compare or help readers plan a leisure activity without relying on claims of personal testing. Keep advice within ordinary, low-risk choices and make any local or seasonal limits clear.
